Eldridge Electric Inc. is a family-owned electrical contractor based in Brockville, Ontario, proudly serving the region since 1985. With major commercial construction projects confirmed for the next two years across Ontario, we are growing our team and have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced licensed electrician.

We are looking for a Journeyman or Master Electrician who is ready to work on meaningful commercial projects, values a professional and supportive team environment, and wants to build a long-term relationship with a company that has been doing this for over four decades.

Please note that we do not have any apprenticeship openings at this time.

Compensation

$35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Security Clearance Opportunity

One of our upcoming projects requires federal security clearance. If you are able to participate in this process, we will cover all associated costs. This is an asset, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical systems for commercial construction projects

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide practical solutions

  • Follow the Ontario Electrical Code and all applicable safety guidelines

  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, general contractors, and team members

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Licence (Red Seal endorsement considered an asset)

  • Minimum 3 years of electrical experience required; 5 or more years preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience preferred

  • Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation to our Brockville shop location (public transit is not available)

  • Willingness to travel within Ontario for commercial projects, with overnight stays as required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial and/or residential electrical systems

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Thursday (commercial projects); occasional extended hours depending on project timelines

Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Location: Travel to project sites across Ontario, with a weekly start and end point at our shop in Brockville, ON
